Erin Teague
Founder of Authentic Life Consulting, LLC & College Coach
Erin Teague knows firsthand how challenging the path to higher education can be—especially as a First-Generation college student. In her pursuit of a degree, she faced obstacle after obstacle, learning critical lessons the hard way. Now, Erin’s on a mission to share those lessons and help you navigate the journey with fewer bumps along the way.
In high school, she was the quintessential “budget-conscious slacker” who could’ve used some quality college advice herself. It wasn’t until grad school that she finally outgrew her procrastination tendencies. (And by the way, our programs are also a great fit for grad school applicants!) Today, Erin channels her love for giving advice—solicited or not—into helping students avoid the pitfalls she encountered.
For Erin, authenticity means finding the right environment where you’re accepted as you are—no masking, just being valued and respected for who you really are. She’s had to make her share of mistakes, face conflict head-on, and learn what truly matters to her. Now, she’s ready to coach young people on their own journeys of self-discovery and help them embrace their strengths early on, so they don’t have to struggle through adulthood the way she did. College is a natural beginning for that journey, where your values and priorities start to take shape and where you can lay the foundation for the life you want.
She understands that the college journey isn’t one-size-fits-all. Your obstacles are unique, and your application should be too. Erin’s here to guide you in navigating the college process, turning your strengths into a winning strategy.
Ready to make college planning less stressful and more authentic? Let’s find the path that fits you best—one that aligns with who you are and what you truly value.
